Meander Maps and Life's Journey

Writer: Linda AlbertLinda Albert

In 1944, cartographer Harold Fisk created a series of Mississippi River maps for the Army Corp of Engineers. Called "Meander Maps," these wonderfully detailed, twisting, colorful maps were brought to my attention through a recent and insightful Facebook post by Elizabeth Gilbert (author of Eat, Pray, Love). Read what she has to say about where our "meandering" may take us.
